Declarative and Interrogative Sentences:

  • A sentence that makes a statement is called a declarative sentence. Example: We have two dogs.
  • A sentence that asks a question is called an interrogative sentence. Example: Do you have a dog?

November 9/2020 What is Remembrance Day? Remembrance Day in Canada is observed on November 11. At 11:00 am businesses and schools usually stop for a moment of silence to show respect for all of the Armed Forces members who have risked their lives to ensure Canada remains a safe country. This day was specially chosen as it marked the official end of World War 1 in 1918. Remembrance Day ceremonies are held in schools or public places to pay tribute to fallen soldiers who have lost their lives while serving their country.
