Imperative and Exclamatory Sentences

 An imperative sentence expresses a command or request. It is followed by a period (.). Example: Close the door. 

An exclamatory sentence expresses strong emotion. It can also express a command or request that is made with great excitement. It is followed by an exclamation mark (!). Examples:  How you frightened me! Look at that accident!

November 9/2020 What is Remembrance Day? Remembrance Day in Canada is observed on November 11. At 11:00 am businesses and schools usually stop for a moment of silence to show respect for all of the Armed Forces members who have risked their lives to ensure Canada remains a safe country. This day was specially chosen as it marked the official end of World War 1 in 1918. Remembrance Day ceremonies are held in schools or public places to pay tribute to fallen soldiers who have lost their lives while serving their country.
