  Variables: is the unknown or the quantity represented by any letter. Examples: 5y+3; the letter y is the variable example: 9c; the letter c is the variable example: 2x-8; x is the variable Numerical Coefficient: the number along with the variable. Journal Writing December 14,2020

 Hello Grade 7's, Today we are going to focus on our daily journal. I'll write to you first and then you can respond. Dear  students,      I hope that you are all doing well and remaining to be positive about school. It is now December 14, 2020, and oh so close to Christmas.  How many of you know the true meaning of Christmas? This was the day when Jesus was born. He was born in a stable as there were no hotel rooms for them to stay. The brightest star shone over them when Jesus was born. On December 21st, the two largest planets, Jupiter and Saturn will align to create what's referred to as the " Christmas Star" or the " Star of Bethlehem" . Keep an eye out 45 minutes after sunset where the Star of Bethlehem will shine for the first time since 1226. Ecosystems are Made Up Of Living and Non-living Things

Scientists group everything on Earth as living or non-living. Non-living could be rocks, water, or air.  Living things could be fish, birds, and you. All living things live in a habitat. A habitat is a place that provides living things with oxygen, water, food, shelter, and everything else.  First Nations and Metis believe that everything is related and each has a responsibility. For example, if we take sweetgrass from Mother Earth, we need to give something in return. First Nations usually place tobacco before removing the sweetgrass.
