Directions: Identify which is an expression or an equation and explain how you know. Remember that an expression is a mix of numbers/variables, operations such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing, without an equal sign. ex. 9y A equation has 2 expressions separated by a equal sign, and each expression has the same value as the other; ex. 5 + 3m=11. 1. 4w=48___________________________________________________________________________ 2. g-11____________________________________________________________________________ 3. 3d+5____________________________________________________________________________ 4. x/12=8__________________________________________________________________________ 5. j-5/10___________________________________________________________________________ 6. 6z+1=67________________________________________________________________________ ( If you forget how to solve, review back on the video of expressions and equations).

Directions: Read the passage on ecosystems and answer questions at the end. Remember to use complete sentences with the correct punctuation. Scientists group everything on Earth as living or non-living. Non-living could be rocks, water, or air.  Living things could be fish, birds, and you. All living things live in a habitat.
