1. What are the factors for the numerator and denominator?

2. Are there any numbers that can be cancelled out?

3. Are there any composite numbers, if so choose only prime numbers if possible.

Your answer should be simplified, meaning you can't make the fraction smaller.

 Today's lesson is all about median and range.  Median : is the middle number in a given set of data. example: 9,5,6,8,3 Step 1: Rearrange the numbers from least to greatest. Step 2: 3,5,6,8,9 Step 3: Cross off the numbers starting from left, then right, left then right, until you come up with only 1 number 3,5 ,6, 8,9   In my case I underlined and made the numbers darker. So, the middle number here is 6.  The median is the #6. In some situations there maybe more than 1 number. If there are two middle numbers, you add both of them and divide by 2 to get your median. ex. 4,1,7,6,2,8 Step 1: Rearrange the numbers from least to greatest.              1,2,4,6,7,8 Step 2: Cross off the numbers starting from the left to right, left, to right.
